Ingredients:
2 oz Deer Camp or Latitudes Straight Bourbon Whiskey
3/4 oz mulberry syrup*
Juice of 1 lime (or 1 oz lime juice)
Top with ginger beer
*Mulberry syrup: Heat 1 cup washed mulberries with 3 cups simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water) to rolling boil. Stir frequently while heating for 20 minutes. Let cool and strain to remove berry seeds and stems. It make take a second straining to remove all.
Directions:
1. Add first 3 ingredients to a chilled copper mug or mason jar mug with ice.
2. Top with ginger beer. Stir.
3. Add 2 lime wheels for garnish.
