1 lb. Fresh Cranberries
Zest of 1 Orange
1/4 Cup Fresh Orange Juice
1 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Northern Roots Ginger Liqueur
1/2 Tbs. Fresh Grated Ginger (Tip: freeze any extra ginger in a freezer bag ungrated)
In a medium saucepan, combine Zest, Orange Juice, Honey, Liqueur, Fresh Ginger, and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Add Cranberries and continue to cook until Cranberries pop and sauce thickens (12-15 minutes). Pour into your favorite bowl and let cool. Enjoy.
*If you want to add a bit of crunch, sprinkle some chopped walnuts over the top.
