Hot Buttered Rum

(Recipe for 4 Servings)


3/4 cup Whaleback Spiced Rum

2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar

1/2 cup softened unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon cloves

Pinch salt

2 cups boiling water


1. Beat the brown sugar, butter, honey, spices, and salt in a medium bowl until smooth.

2. Add Whaleback Spiced Rum and then the boiling water.

3. Stir until the butter and sugar dissolves.

4. Serve in mugs with cinnamon sticks for garnish.
